Who We Are
WE RAISE HOPE is a U.S.-based non-profit organization dedicated to raising up the living standards of marginalized villages and communities outside the U.S. by partnering with local operating charities that help to build and operate education, healthcare, and technology initiatives in these locations. Our roots are deeply embedded in the transformative work initiated in Nepal. But our vision extends beyond any single country.
Our Connection to Nepal
Our president and founder has a decade-long history of impactful work in Nepal, establishing schools, hospitals, and infrastructure projects in remote, underserved areas. This foundational work exemplifies our commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment.
We are partnering with an established local operating charity in Nepal called Jay Nepal NGO. This organization, together with its partner, Jay Nepal Action Volunteers in Italy, has totally transformed a Napal village from an earthquake-ravaged forgotten mountainside to a now thriving community with a new school, hospital, sports center. The villagers are “untouchables” in the Caste system, and their lives have been immeasurably improved. We Raise Hope intends to support this great work in Nepal and launch similar programs elsewhere.
Connecting With The US
Our activities are not confined to fundraising and sending resources abroad. We engage in direct project implementation, volunteer mobilization, and local community involvement both in the U.S. and internationally. We have already begun an ongoing program that connects underserved U.S. middle-school students with their student-counterparts in Nepal and other countries, fostering cultural exchange and mutual learning opportunities. This bi-directional approach ensures that our activities are beneficial both locally and globally, providing a comprehensive support system for all our initiatives.
